The 2015 CEDIA Electronic Lifestyles Awards competition demonstrates how CEDIA members from all over the world transform ordinary rooms into extraordinary environments.

  • A Hybrid Success

This project called for complete automation, including lighting control, Wi-Fi, shades, distributed audio, home theater and TV control. AV Prestige created a hybrid of audio and video systems, in which some zones are centralized and some zones are local.

  • A Screen Gazer’s Dream

Creating a private theater for a client who is “in the business” could be intimidating, but VIA International pulled off a beauty of a space with some unique touches.

  • Always Prepared

This “cottage in the city” had to be easy to operate, intuitive and unfailingly reliable. A tremendous amount of attention to detail and diligence paid off for Graytek Solutions.

  • Bella Teatro Privato

This new Tuscan-style California home was to feature a private theater. Although the couple enjoyed many common interests, the theater was original going to be the husband’s exclusively. But after its completion by Twilight Solutions, they share many evenings together in their own Bella Teatro Privato.

  • Better Together

Having had previous experience with control systems, Electronics Design Group’s client knew exactly how he wanted to control his media and integrated systems. Therefore, the system had to be packaged and presented with precision.

  • Double Take

Graytek Solutions Ltd. was called back to a previous install it had done nine years ago to upgrade it to the digital era. The new homeowners wanted a system that allowed them to more easily interact with the home, especially while entertaining guests.

  • Proportionately Precise

This screening room would have to fit into an existing exercise room, and needed to be designed and completed within a very short timeframe and budget. Digital Ear made more the most of this unique space.
